This PISTA workshop will address the rules of the Public Procurement Code from the perspective of its application to the cultural sector. It will cover awarding entities, the most commonly used pre-contractual procedures (direct award and limited tendering) – including their value/material criteria, phases, required documentation, and electronic processing methods. Additionally, it will discuss cases of excluded contracts (artistic contracting).

Instructor
Sandra Pires Claro holds a degree in Law from the Faculty of Law at the University of Lisbon and has previously worked as a Commercial Manager in the insurance sector and as a Commercial and Sponsorship Manager in the cultural and events sector. Since 2014, she has been practising as a legal advisor, focusing primarily on Public Law, first at the Santo António Parish Council (Lisbon) and, since 2016, at EGEAC, where she continues to work.
PISTA is a training program jointly promoted by Alkantara and Polo Cultural Gaivotas | Boavista/Loja Lisboa Cultura. It targets cultural agents, including both professional organizations and individuals, seeking to enhance and refine their skills, exchange best practices, and engage in public discourse on contemporary cultural matters.
