Roxana Ionesco in residency at Espaço Alkantara

CAPRA - or how to say hello to fear is a performance based on an ancient pagan tradition from Romanian and Moldovan collective memory - the New Year's goat. A ritual that buries the old year to welcome the new one - always in celebration.

A story that challenges the limits of reality by reinventing this tradition. Four women try to overcome their greatest fears by confronting the entity Frica. What lies beyond our fears?


From 12 to 18 August, Roxana Ionesco will be in residence at Espaço Alkantara, opening the doors of our studio for a moment of sharing with the public on 16 August at 7 pm.
