Choreographer Inês Campos returns to Espaço Alkantara to work on her new project, Artificĭu.
Artificĭu is a type of minimal ecstasy, a flux of a thousand overlapping events, or something that repeats imperceptibly. The perpetual metamorphosis of an idea in a body and place. It seems intuitive and tangible at first, but soon becomes slippery as the narrative begins to dissolve and emptiness becomes present.
Artist Bio
Inês Campos (Porto, 1990) works as an actor, dancer, musician and visual artist. She is currently touring her solo Coexistimos and performs in Muyte Maker by Flora Détraz. She cofounded www.thistakestime.com, cocreated Sublinhar with Marta Cerqueira, and performed and toured with Kalle Nio and Tânia Carvalho. She studied dance at Escola Superior de Dança and Forum Dança and has taught music and theatre in Portugal, France and Belgium. She is cofounder, singer, composer and graphic designer for the band SOPA DE PEDRA.
