Sónia Trópicos is a producer and DJ, born on the day of the Carnation Revolution and raised on the Margem Sul. She explores electronic sounds from the Lusophone spectrum, focusing on the use of marked and melancholic rhythms through synths and samples.

With a creative journey spanning several artistic fields, she released her first productions and remixes in 2022. She has two EPs to her name — Astral Anormal and Singela — and has contributed remixes and productions to various collaborative projects and other artists.
