Piny in residency at Espaço Alkantara

- 23.02 — 08.03 2026
I seek new ways to present and share a process that was and is street, that was and is clubbing, that was and is intimate, that was and is twisted. It doesn't fit neatly into any format, which is why I seek it. It is a practical investigation, based on experience. It is about being present in places and spaces, being part of them, not withdrawing, but being.
I tell stories, share personal archives and others collected over many years. I question performance, I question academia, the body, and I intertwine plants, the city, and social processes of destruction and construction of cultures and bodies. Just like that, in the plural. It literally means to be crossed by something, by many things. To be crossed. To be or to act mischievously, to disturb. To serve me on a platter. To be a cross between two larger streets. To be a crossing.
Overlapping memories and volcanoes.
Street culture and intertwined nature.
Clubbing spaces for a single body.
Dense imagery for a solitary space.
Fabric from the marrow to the cosmos.
Oracles for endless parties.
To (un)resolve the world into a nothingness full of everything.
