Seven Years Seven Books

Seven Years Seven Books is part of the Seven Years Seven Pieces project, consisting in the publication of the written texts from the pieces created by Claudia Dias and guest artists, detaching them from their theatrical context.

The intention is to offer more visibility to the text by providing it with a less ephemeral context than the performance arts, as well as to defend the idea that contemporary dance is itself a place of literary production.

This project has several crafters. Firstly, the creators of the texts who are also the performers, the Illustrator Jorge Gonçalves, as a way of conferring new frames and meaning to the text and Jorge Louraço Figueira that will also contributo with the afterword texts.
