O bailarino e coreógrafo sul-africano Tiran Willemse, residente em Zurique, estudou na P.A.R.T.S em Bruxelas e na Universidade de Artes de Berna (HKB). A sua prática baseada na performance explora a profundidade física e emocional do corpo, utilizando técnicas sonoras e visuais para criar paisagens somáticas e psicológicas além da condição humana. Tiran trabalhou e colaborou com coreógrafos como Trajal Harrell, Jérôme Bel, Wu-Tsang, Ligia Lewis, Meg Stuart, Andros Zins-Browne, Eszter Salamon e Deborah Hay. Em 2022, ganhou o Prix Suisse de la Performance.
