On the banks of a sulfurous river, we breath in toxic dust and breath out ways of rexisting.

In the Fundão night sky, a mysterious train of lights makes its way towards the stars. The Gardunha mountains – accustomed to otherworldly visitors and their intergalactic greed for mineral resources – stare impassively as a constellation of satellites takes shape. Like in a conspiracy, everything seems connected: cherries and start-ups, satellites and lithium mining, spoil tips and rye fields contaminated with hallucinogenic fungi. In the meantime, a venerated oak tree is killed in a fire and a sick miner becomes a water diviner, sensing water underground. Somewhere on the banks of a sulfurous river, between the native gorse and the invasive touch-me-nots, we breath in toxic dust and breath out ways of rexisting.
