Quinta-Feira: Abracadabra
Seven Years Seven Pieces cycle
Peace, bread, work, education mean what, exactly? In Quinta-feira: Abracadabra, the fourth creation of the project Sete Anos Sete Peças, Cláudia Dias and Idoia Zabaleta give new uses to worn words. They start from scratch to re-match the people present with the minimal meanings of each word. Peace, bread, work, education mean what, exactly? Demonstrating the true relationship between things and words, seeking the hidden names of injustice, inequality, and oppression, the artists seek the magic words to move bodies, and worlds. At the end of the show, the audience is invited to a conversation with the creators.
