Uruguayan choreographer and performer based in Lisbon, Portugal. His artistic practice focuses on studying the relationship between choreography, fiction, and dramaturgy, drawing on iconographic and audiovisual archives through vocal, sound, and physical experimentation, transforming them into material for choreographic writing. The performative language of his work brings together formats and expressions that combine theatricality, dance, and music.

His works Melodrama: senza te (2024), LA BURLA (2022), and El Universo no se asemeja a nada (2019) have been presented in Uruguay, Brazil, Argentina, Portugal, Spain, Germany, and Poland. Bruno also works as a choreographer in a duo with the artist Bibi Dória (BR), with whom he created the piece LA BURLA (2022), and coordinates the laboratory ‘Tudo o que é divino degrada fundo embaixo da terra’ [Everything that is divine degrades deep beneath the earth]. He is part of the artist collective PISCINA, resident at Espaço da Penha (Penha de França, Lisbon), and a member of NADA – Associação Cultural, founded in 2024.

In addition to his own work, he has collaborated since 2015 as a performer with artists such as Ana Rita Teodoro (PT), João Fiadeiro (PT), Sofia Dias & Vítor Roriz (PT), Catarina Miranda (PT), Miguel Pereira (PT), Julián Pacomio (ES), Cristian Duarte (BR), Tamara Cubas (UY), and Andrea Arobba (UY).

Bruno holds a degree in Acting from the Escuela Multidisciplinaria de Arte Dramático (EMAD) and graduated from the comprehensive dance programme at inDANS | Escuela de Artes del Movimiento in Uruguay. He attended PACAP II at Fórum Dança in 2018, curated by Sofia Dias and Vítor Roriz, supported by a FEFCA grant from the Ministerio de Educación y Cultura del Uruguay (MEC).
