Vinicius BigJohn has been a musician since 2008. He began playing accordion in forró bands before specialising as a keyboardist, composer and researcher of musical technology. He dedicated five years of his career to Coutto Orchestra, a band from Sergipe that received national and international acclaim, appearing in renowned festivals such as Circulart (Colombia), Rec-Beat (Recife), Festival SIM (São Paulo) and Contrapedal (Uruguay), among others, and receiving awards from Momo Instrumental (2014) and Natura Musical (2016). Vinicius has played with other artists such as Arthur Matos, Héloa, The Baggios and Baiana System. In Lisbon since 2020, Vinicius BigJohn has collaborated with Trypas Corassão and Venga Venga, and is also part of the group Rastafogo, the duo Rebolaria and the ensemble of Constança Quintero.
