Fórum Cultura: Work-life balance in the performing arts

Professions in the arts sector have specific characteristics that bring challenges to parenting. What solutions to these challenges can we discuss in the artistic community? What forms of support exist?

In this round table discussion, we're going to talk about the exercise of parenthood and the road ahead for the fair and effective implementation of existing rights. We want to raise awareness of these issues so that new possibilities for reconciling family and professional life can emerge in the sector.

Francisca Pinto and Patrícia Soares, mothers and arts professionals, are developing a research and creating a project on parenting in the Portuguese contemporary arts sector. They will mediate thei Fórum Cultura with the desire to build strong communities of reflection and action for desirable futures.

This session will also include the participation of guests to be confirmed. This event is spoken in Portuguese.
The entry is free, subject to room availability. The space has a capacity of 50 seats.
