André Godinho

André Godinho (1979, Lisbon) studied Film at ESTC and Documentary Filmmaking with Les Ateliers Varan. He has directed documentaries, fiction short films and documentary television series. His latest film, Uma Rapariga Imaterial [An Immaterial Girl], received both the Jury Award and the Audience Award for Best Short Film at QueerLisboa. He is currently developing his first feature film, Não Resta Nada [Nothing Remains]. He also works regularly as a Script Supervisor on film productions. Alongside his film work, he has collaborated in theatre with the companies Teatro Praga (since 2000), Cão Solteiro (since 2006) and silentparty (since 2022), working across video, directing and co-creation.
