Less by Cão Solteiro & André Godinho is a performance-party that celebrates the end of 29 years of resistance, transformation and invention.
Less by Cão Solteiro & André Godinho brings together the production of film excerpts in real time, staged scenes built around that filming, the dismantling of cinematic and theatrical apparatuses, and a party. Creators, performers, technicians and the entire team will be present throughout the stage, in a continuous movement that will end with the complete emptying of the scene. Music will be provided by a DJ.
“This performance celebrates the end of 29 years of opening up new paths in contemporary Portuguese theatre. 29 years of invention, transformation and resistance, built with many people. Friends, fellow travellers, comrades, stories of love and death — our lives. This is a chosen ending, and everyone who has ever been one of the Cães is called to the party.”
— Cão Solteiro
