There is a Lisbon that only happens in November — Alkantara Festival 2026: from 13 to 29 November, we're taking over the city with a programme of theatre, dance and performance you won't want to miss.

This year, the festival takes place across CAM – Centro de Arte Moderna Gulbenkian, Centro Cultural de Belém, Culturgest, Fundação Calouste Gulbenkian, MAAT: Museum of Art, Architecture and Technology, MNAC: National Museum of Contemporary Art – Chiado, Sala Estúdio Valentim de Barros/Jardins do Bombarda, Teatro do Bairro Alto and Teatro Nacional D. Maria II.

The full programme for Alkantara Festival 2026 will be announced in October. Until then, there is still plenty to discover. We'll be revealing new performances, opening ticket sales and sharing everything you need to know so you can start planning your must-see list.
