PACAP 9 in residence at Espaço Alkantara

PACAP 9, curated by Marcelo Evelin with artistic collaboration from Bruno Moreno, is “a programme of undisciplinary experimentation and training, focused on instances of group creation and conditions of collaborative performativity”. Throughout its six-month duration, the group of participating artists will undergo “a series of interventions in the form of creative residencies, with artists involved in collective practices that exercise the idea of the ‘common’ as a choreographic situation: the game, the rite, the circle, the party.”

During their residency at Espaço Alkantara, the group of 13 artists will begin the research and creation process that is to be shared at the end of the programme at TBA – Teatro do Bairro Alto. They will be working alongside the Piscina collective (Andrei Bessa, Bibi Dória, Bruno Brandolino, Josefa Pereira, Julián Pacomio, Lucas Damiani, Márcia Lança, Natália Mendonça, Nicole Gomes, and Romain Beltrão Teule), an informal collective of artists based at Espaço da Penha in Lisbon.


The final presentations are scheduled to take place from 9 to 12 July at TBA – Teatro do Bairro Alto.
