invitation to a practice of listening to the body and to desire, for artists and performers, whether professionals or students, we will approach the diasporic poetics that bring Catalan- Haitian dancer Inés Sybille Vooduness closer to her choreographic field: Konpa, Yanvalou, Banda from Haiti, Kuduro from Angola, and Coupé Décalé from Ivory Coast.
Through body-based and collage practices, she will share her creative tools, inviting participants to connect with what is already present in our bodies, drawing on the idea of desire, pleasure and the erotic as ways of inhabiting the body and the notion of Relation.

Inés Sybille Vooduness is a dancer, cultural researcher, and teacher. Born in Barcelona to a Catalan mother and Haitian father, her work explores Haitian Vodou through choreography, creating imagined encounters between spiritual traditions and contemporary dance forms such as Kuduro (Angola), Coupé-Décalé (Ivory Coast), and Dancehall (Jamaica). Previous works include Santa de sustrato autónomo (La Casa Encendida, 2023) and Simbi en águas astronómicas (TNT Festival/Teatro do Bairro Alto, 2024).
