A performance-party celebrating the opening of Alkantara Festival 2026.
On 13 November, we meet at DISASTER for MeioFio’s performance-party: a night held in the space between origin and return, between bite and juice, between what the star has made and what it will one day swallow back.
The plant feeds on the star. The star feeds on the plant. Light turns into body, pulp, grain. Fruit exists because the sun brought it into being: it carries the memory of sunlight — and now the sun devours it.
There is no contradiction here: there is a cycle. The matter that creates is the same matter that consumes. We are stardust that learned to dance out of desire. So let us dance.
Born in São Paulo — the city where she grew up in the daily flows of immigration and developed tactics for street expression as a member of party collectives — Ágatha CIGARRA has been a DJ, performer, music producer and cultural agent for over 15 years. She has spent half of that time in the Lisbon scene, working in partnership with the city and dissident artists. Alex Simões, also known as Xana Modas, is a visual artist born in Lisbon. A Fine Arts graduate from Goldsmiths, University of London, Simões works across DJing, event production, film, costume design, and set design, notably recognised for creating cardboard fancy-dress outfits and characters crafted from sequins. With a bold and provocative style, Xana Modas channels aesthetic trends through a conceptual approach, blending the extravagant with artistic subversion.
