Performance

Blindfolded Society is a performance loosely inspired by José Saramago's Blindness. Through the languages of dance and spoken word, this work shares a critical view of contemporary society along with the social and moral blindness that characterises it. A blindfolded Christina Elias creates a live narrative that is made up of movement and text in various languages, responding to fragments from Saramago's novel that are projected into the space as a soundscape.
