Kitchen Table

The Kitchen Table, inspired by Lois Weaver’s The Long Table, offers a democratic space for open and performative discussions. With talk as the only course, participants are free to join, leave and come back as they wish, engaging in a dynamic exchange of ideas. There is no host or hierarchy, just a shared space for dialogue. A space in which silence is welcomed, awkwardness is recognised and laughter is encouraged.

With no conclusions drawn, the emphasis is on open-ended exploration encouraging different perspectives and approaches while we deepen our understanding of urgent issues in the cultural sector.

Guided by themes highlighted in (re)union 2025, this session invites participants to take part in a collective reflection through a performative game.
