Installation
There are ideas that we don’t want to abandon, yet we haven’t found a place or a concept for them. Speaking about them means speaking of a process, as they emerged from an unexpected chain of events. Can we show something like this? Can we, through trial and experience, allow the work to reveal itself? Can we follow an intuition based on the desire to transform something we don’t quite yet understand into something that we can name? When searching for something that I believed was related to a body that could be drawn and erased, I found something else – something external to me, something with vibrant colours capable of taking on multiple forms. Could that impermanent body have transformed into multiple shapes grounded on faded ideas? Perhaps this thing that I found is not so far from the one I was searching for. Maybe this is yet another attempt to weave threads between two moments, understanding where things come from without having to know, just yet, where they are going.
