Miradouro de Baixo - Rooftop
The rooftop terrace at Carpintarias de São Lázaro is the official meeting point of the 2025 Alkantara Festival and will be open to the public on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
In partnership with Miradouro de Baixo, we offer a space to unwind and extend the night after the shows — with Latin American food by chef Enrique Sienra, a music programme, drinks, and a breathtaking view over the city of Lisbon.
Rain or shine, this is the perfect place to meet artists, chat with the festival team, or simply enjoy the view.

Guy from 1990 + Mimi Melody (DJ Sets)
Guy from 1990
Active in Lisbon’s music scene since 2007, Guy from 1990 also spent two years in London, where he witnessed the revival of Classic House and UK Garage. That period sowed the seeds for the founding of the ELA collective, a movement that went on to shape Lisbon and Portugal’s underground scene over the past decade. Meanwhile, he has released music on labels such as Percebes, DVRST, Whoopee, Ruínas, and Powder Traxx. A regular presence on Portuguese FM radio, it’s not unusual to tune in and hear his tracks or podcasts — especially on Rádio Oxigénio. + info
Mimi Melody
Milena’s (aka Mimi Melody’s) record collection spans sounds from across the globe. From California to Paris, Berlin to London, no crate has been left unturned. Above all, she loves sharing an eclectic mix of funk-infused rhythms — as long as they’re authentic, raw, and full of soul, the groove is guaranteed. + info
16 NOV
Mostafa Anwar (Concert) + Caroline Lethô (Live Ambient Set)
A journey through the classical sounds of the Indian subcontinent and ambient electronica.
Mostafa Anwar
A musician, musical director, composer, and poet from Bangladesh now living in Lisbon. Through his art, he seeks to make music a spiritual journey towards peace and harmony, transcending all borders. Drawing inspiration from the ancient traditions of the Indian classical Raga system, he has composed a variety of Sufi, devotional, and folk music. On 16 November, Mostafa brings to the Miradouro the classical music of the Indian subcontinent, performing with the traditional Tanpura and Harmonium.
Caroline Lethô
Caroline Lethô stands at the forefront of Portugal’s vibrant electronic scene, establishing herself as a nomadic DJ and producer with a magnetic talent that transcends borders. Born in the Algarve and steeped in Indian and African influences, her musical journey began early — attending her father’s saxophone classes and immersing herself in jazz band rehearsals. Caroline has performed at iconic electronic venues and festivals such as Tresor, Berlin Atonal, Dekmantel Selectors, Primavera Sound, Forte, Tremor, Boom, and Waking Life. In her live ambient project, she guides listeners through a meditative, spiritually charged soundscape — an exploration that reveals the profound power of nature in broad, sonic strokes.
21 NOV
Lisbon Open Vinyl Experiment (DJ Sets)
The legendary L.O.V.E. Vinyl Sessions have been bringing some of Lisbon’s most diverse nights to life for over six years, inviting any interested DJs or selectors to take part. On 21 November, L.O.V.E. will feature eight DJs, each bringing crates packed with Funk, MPB, Disco, House, Afrobeat, Jazz, and much more. With no borders or essential genres, the L.O.V.E. sessions are one of the Miradouro de Baixo’s monthly regular parties.
22 NOV
Latin Party w/ Arturo Cruz Quartet
The Latin Party is more than just a party — it’s an explosion of flavour, passion, and good vibes on the Terrace. Concert, party, market, and food, all within the rich universe of Latin American culture. It’s one of the key meeting points for Lisbon’s Latin community (and beyond). On 22 November, Cuban musician Arturo Cruz will perform with his quartet.

Alkantara Festival Closing with DIDI
DIDI is a transdisciplinary artist whose work combines artistic and cultural production, research, curation, performance art, and DJing. They have founded several collectives and events that give visibility to Black, queer, and migrant subjectivities in Portugal — including the artistic collectives Afrontosas and União Negra das Artes, and the body- and sex-positive party platform Curvs. As a DJ, DIDI delivers a generous blend of club rhythms and energies deeply rooted in Afro-diasporic music, moving fluidly from 90s/00s R&B to Afrobeat, House, Baile Funk, Amapiano, and Kuduro. + info
