Todo es primero soñado

There are images so delicate they defy observation—images that can only be glimpsed with eyes closed. Or perhaps it is more that our eyes today are not equipped to behold appearances so intense and mutable. These are the images of daydreams and night dreams, memories, hallucinations, and visions, among many others, which compose what I call dream substance: a medium in constant metamorphosis in which our bodies dwell, take shape, and relate to one another.

In this talk, I share the various threads that have been woven into my research over recent years, culminating in the project Dream Communities. And I raise some of the many open questions and intuitions that remain.
